Wanted to test it out and sent that playlist to a chat support and i said if you could shuffle and screenshot me those queue as i want to see if my own old songs is the ones also being favored to play on their PC. might just be? i dont know.Īs I tried creating a new account, tried on 2 test accounts given by chat support, all goes the same route by having favoritism of my old songs inside that playlist. Now what i think is preferences and favoritism of music is somewhat tied to the creator/owner of the playlist. like bro music tastes, moods changes too you cant put me back in 2019 I dont use much spotify now and it seems the only way to fix this is to consume a lot of that same genre all over and over again, which is not practical as what it should be is to just give me a next song based on the genre of what i was playing before, but now spotify did so much to the algorithm that it is purely unbearingly unbearable. Some of my new songs seems to need to have fight their way in about each slot. As of now its about 5:1 ratio with the old ones being the lesser number but no matter what its always the priority and majority when being the ones to be chosen to be played next. The majority now of my recently liked songs is rap and they new songs that i havent quite listened a lot to like 1 or 3 times only, mainly because i wasn't getting recommended by any new songs from shuffler because of the damn algorithm. Shuffler is bugged and really likes to play a certain amount of songs in my liked songs, and those are the ones that ive listened to quite a lot in 20. Maybe do this a couple times, but only thing that works is to open my phone go to the Poweramp widget and press play.(Oxygen OS 11.0.10.10, PS4 Version 9.00, Windows 10, ) Sometimes it will come on for a second and cut out. I have it set to "resume on wired headset". It works, but maybe a day later, it will get stuck on the same folder or album that it last played.Īlso when it first started happening, I would do the above steps, but then it would go back to the first band that I searched for when I noticed it happening.Īnother thing that I forgot to mention in my op, and this maybe the phone I use, is when I plug a jack in, it wont start Poweramp like it used to. The only thing that seems to work is to go back library, I usually choose album, pick the first album and song, and skip track to see if it shuffles. The next day it would only shuffle songs in either the same album or band folder. The first time I noticed, I searched for a song in library. I don't have repeat on, shuffle is set to all, I have nothing in the que. There isn't anything in the Queue which could be affecting your upcoming playback order is there? What Repeat mode have you got set? It does sound like a combination of Shuffle being set to Songs Only (rather than All Songs) and Repeat set to Repeat List. If you only ever launch a song by tapping on it directly, and then use the Shuffle icon within the Player screen, it should do what it is told and correctly set the shuffle mode as do the metadata line displays tell you - that should let you know the playback mode and next planned track, etc. As far as I know, that should only affect playback when you use the Shuffle button at the top of a library view page.
